A Palace Visit with Santa
A Christmas story, a secret door and a fireside meeting with Santa in a 500-year-old palace!
Meet Santa where a princess once studied
More than 500 years ago, the young Princess Elizabeth spent her childhood at the Old Palace, receiving much of her education in its Upper Solar Room. This Christmas, that room has a very special visitor, and your family is invited to meet him.
The journey begins at our secret door. Step through into the Knot Garden and follow our storyteller along the fairy-lit Lime Walk, before heading into the Old Palace, where Santa is waiting by the fire.

Your ticket includes:
- A storytelling walk through the Knot Garden and along the fairy-lit Lime Walk
- A meeting with Santa in the Upper Solar Room of the Old Palace
- Time to take your own photos with Santa
- A small gift from Santa for every child
- Access to the Winter Woodland Walks

A story that leads you to Santa
Our children’s storyteller meets you in the Knot Garden. As you wind along the Lime Walk, children sing, act things out and look for clues. Something curious is going on at the Old Palace this year, and Santa might just need their help to put it right.

By the fireside with Santa
In the Upper Solar Room, children can share their Christmas wishes with Santa, take home a small gift from him, and pose for photos on your own camera or phone.
Recommended for children aged 3 and over.
