Stone Frieze of Queen Elizabeth I
The frieze once adorned London’s Royal Exchange. Following a severe fire at the Royal Exchange, the surviving piece was salvaged and brought to Hatfield House in 1855. It is now housed in an alcove beneath the West Garden’s pergola, serving as a serene historical feature.
