Ideal for smaller groups who’d like to share a larger party, our Christmas Party Nights offer all the excitement and atmosphere of a larger celebration without the need for exclusive hire.
Hosted within the grandeur of the Old Palace, the 15th-century Tudor residence where Queen Elizabeth I spent much of her childhood, these shared festive evenings combine history, seasonal atmosphere and exceptional hospitality.
Beautifully dressed, the Old Palace offers a warm setting with garlands, crackers, glowing candles, an open fire and a magnificent Christmas tree.
Your evening includes:
- A welcome drink on arrival, with a choice of Prosecco or sparkling elderflower
- A delicious three-course festive dinner
- Tea, coffee, and mince pies
- Evening DJ playing festive disco music

Early Bird tickets
Early Bird tickets for our Christmas Party Nights are available at £75 per person for bookings made before 30th September. After 30th September, tickets are £80 per person. Availability on both dates is limited, so we recommend reserving your places early.

Working with our trusted catering partners, we offer festive menus featuring traditional Christmas favourites alongside modern seasonal dishes. Menus can accommodate a wide range of dietary requirements, including vegetarian and vegan options. Please share any requirements when you confirm your booking.
Guests attending our Christmas Party Nights will enjoy a carefully selected set menu, while those hosting a private event can shape a bespoke menu around their celebration. To help you plan your evening, we also offer a selection of drinks packages, including:
- Bucket of 10 beers – £60
- Bucket of 5 beers and 5 ciders – £60
- Trio of wine – £85
Packages are inclusive of VAT. Drinks can also be purchased on the day at an additional cost.

Christmas party venue FAQs
We encourage guests attending both our Christmas Party Nights to embrace the festive season with smart attire or festive cocktail attire.
Private events may set their own dress code requirements.
Our private Christmas parties can host up to 250 guests.
Private events can run beyond midnight with the appropriate licence, finishing as late as 2am Monday to Saturday and 1am on Sundays.
Our Christmas Party Nights run from 6pm until 11pm.
Yes. We can provisionally hold your preferred date for one week while you finalise your plans.
Yes. All key spaces are accessible, with ramps where needed.
Accessible ground-floor bathrooms are 50 metres from the Old Palace, and accessible parking is available in the main Visitor Car Park via George’s Gate.
Yes. Dedicated coach parking is available close to the Old Palace and the Stable Yard for larger groups.
