Whilst vast in scale and impressive in material, Angela Conner’s work is characterised by the contrasting simplicity of the mechanics she engineers specifically to realise the mobile aspects of each design.

Conner’s sculptures feature in public and private collections worldwide, and her work has been exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Royal Academy of the Arts in London, and has been awarded an American Institute of Architects’ Honour Award for sculpture and co-design of Heinz Plaza, Pittsburgh, USA. At 35 metres, her Irish Wave in Dublin is the tallest mobile sculpture in Europe.

Renaissance is the second Conner mobile water sculpture commissioned by the Marquess of Salisbury. In 2002, La Source was installed at Cranborne Manor, the family home in Dorset.
