Volunteering opportunities at Hatfield Park

Volunteering in the Parkland

Hatfield's historic Parkland

Hatfield Park is a remarkable historic landscape, a carefully designed estate that brings together sweeping parkland, grand tree-lined avenues, tranquil waterways, and ancient trees surrounding Hatfield House. These features, shaped over centuries, reflect a unique blend of natural beauty and heritage.

Evolving from medieval deer parks and transformed in the 17th century into a coherent design with long vistas, formal gardens, and structured walks, the park remains a sanctuary for wildlife and a showcase of historic stewardship. Volunteering here means helping to preserve one of England’s most significant parkland settings.

Volunteer opportunities are available all year round.

One day a week: Tuesday only
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

“Volunteering at Hatfield House truly
was the highlight of my week and that
was due to how incredibly caring every
team member was.”
