Hatfield Park is closed on Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

Visitor parking and entrance to Stable Yard are free of charge.

Payment at our ticket kiosks is card or contactless only, as we no longer accept cash.

Group discounts apply to a group of more than 20.

Season tickets are purchasable via our main booking page, and collected on your initial visit to the Park.

Season tickets are valid on respective Park & Garden open dates between February Half Term and November Half Term. Tickets are valid for multiple use and subject to ID verification via our Stable Yard Kiosks. Lost season tickets can be replaced, subject to proof of purchase. Tickets do not include Hatfield House itself, but a supplement entry charge can be purchased at a discount for Season ticket holders. Some large events within the park can cause Season tickets to become temporarily invalid. The decision of Hatfield Park staff remains final on all season ticket enquires. Please note all tickets are valid for pedestrian access only and hold no re-sale value.

The availability of the Old Palace is dependent upon any hospitality events that may be taking place.

We update this webpage with the upcoming dates approximately 2 weeks before the date, so keep an eye on this page to see if your specific dates are available.

Disabled parking is available within the main Visitor Car Park accessed through George’s Gate.

Both male and female lavatories in the Stable Yard have a disabled toilet.

When the park is open, a golf buggy is available to assist those who may need help from the car park to the Stable Yard and/or the entrance to the House & Gardens.

There is a lift in the House, and the rooms are wheelchair-accessible.

Hatfield House does not have wheelchairs to hire.

Toilets are only available in the Stable Yard, there are no facilities beyond the gates or inside the House.

Both male and female lavatories in the Stable Yard have a disabled toilet.

Carers can enter for free when accompanying the person they care for.

If booking online, do not include carers as they will be given complimentary admission upon entry.

Just show relevant documentation (e.g. a carers card) at the kiosk upon arrival.

Dogs are permitted in the Park only.

Dogs are not allowed in the formal Gardens, House or the Old Palace.

Assistance dogs such as guide dogs, are allowed inside the buildings.

The Coach House Kitchen Restaurant is dog-friendly.

Please keep dogs on leads in the Stable Yard.

Bikes and scooters are not permitted inside the Park.

Visitors are welcome to cycle to Hatfield Park and use the bike shed located in the Visitors Car Park to secure their bicycle whilst visiting.

Hatfield House is a private residence and therefore is not part of the National Trust, English Heritage or Historic Houses.

Photography is permitted for non-commercial and personal use.

Inside the House, there is no use of flash or video.

Tripods, lighting equipment and drones are not permitted.

Wedding photography is exclusive to couples getting married at Hatfield Park.

We reserve the right to ask visitors taking part in wedding, engagement, portrait or commercial photography to leave the premises.

Picnics are permitted in the Park, but we ask visitors to clean up after themselves and use the bins provided.

Picnics are not allowed within the formal gardens.

The use of BBQs and portable stoves – disposable or otherwise – are not permitted anywhere in the Park.

Ball games are not permitted in the Park.

Retailers in the Stable Yard have their own opening times.
