Calling all witches, wizards, and magical creatures! This October half-term, Hatfield Park invites you to dust off your broomsticks and join us for a spook-tacular adventure at Witches & Wizards Week! From haunted forests to wicked workshops, this is one family-friendly event you won’t want to miss.

Haunted Forest Walk
Bigger, spookier, and more magical!
Venture deep into the Haunted Forest, where things go bump in the night (and day)! As you walk through the eerie woods, discover bewitching creatures, magical scenes, and ghostly surprises. Created from recycled materials by one of our talented Park and Garden’s Team – the wonderfully creative Sarah Ruggeri – this year’s forest is spookier than ever before! Will you be brave enough to face the Haunted Forest? Put on your wellies and find out!
The Haunted Forest is included with your Park and Garden’s ticket and will be open throughout Witches & Wizards Week.
Witches & Wizards Hat-Building Workshop
Craft your own magic!
Grab your little spellcasters and head to the Motor House from Saturday 25th October to Sunday 2nd November for a drop-in hat-building workshop! Whether you’re a brave witch or a powerful wizard, no magical adventure is complete without a fabulous hat to top off your look!
Our crafting experts will guide you through the process, letting your imaginations run wild as you decorate and build your own witch or wizard hat to wear through the Haunted Forest and take home. It’s a hands-on experience that’s fun for all ages—and no two hats are ever the same!
The workshop runs from 11am – 4pm.
There will be a £12 supplementary charge for each creation.
Wicked Old Palace Tours
Discover the ghostly secrets of the Old Palace!
Step back in time as you journey through the Old Palace and hear spine-tingling tales of Hatfield Park’s eerie past. Do you dare to hear the whispers of history? This immersive tour is perfect for the curious and the brave!
There will be a £8 supplementary charge.
Spooky Cinema Club
Halloween classics for all ages!
End your magical adventure on a high note with our spooky cinema club, where we’ll be showing all your favourite Witch & Wizard featured films! Bring the whole family, grab a seat, and get cozy as you enjoy classic Halloween fun.
