Wander up to The Stable Yard at Hatfield Park too, where from 10am to 5pm on both Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June, The Old Hatfield Market will be reopening for 2026, full of artisanal gifts and items made by local businesses for you to browse and purchase.

Enjoy delicious street food, explore the shops, and relax with a coffee or bite to eat at The Coach House Kitchen.

FAQs

What is the best way to get to Salisbury Square?

Salisbury Square is just a stone’s throw across the Great North Road from Hatfield train station – simply cross the road and follow the steps down and around to the right of The Great Northern pub.
It is also easily accessible by bus and can be reached on foot from central Hatfield.

Is there parking?

Yes. Parking is available just across the Great North Road in the multi-storey car park.
If you would like to park at Hatfield Park, the Coach and Car Park (AL9 5HX for Sat Nav) is accessed through George’s Gate and is located a few hundred yards on from the Station Lodge entrance, at the mini roundabout opposite the large Citroen dealership.

Is the event free?

There is no entry fee for Saturday’s event or The Old Hatfield Market in the Stable Yard, however you may wish to make purchases from the food trucks and local businesses.

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are welcome to join in the celebrations, however they must be kept on a lead.

Is Salisbury Square accessible?

Yes, the new Salisbury Square development has multiple entrances some of which are step-free and wheelchair-friendly. There is also permanent seating if needed.
