A New Addition To The Stable Yard

This weekend we have a new retailer coming to The Stable Yard.

On Saturday 8th February Slumbering Hound a brand new pet boutique will open its doors.

From 2 pm dog owners and their four-legged friends are invited to the launch party where customers will receive 10% off any purchase.

Dee Stringer, a former puppet and prop maker in the film and TV industry, founded the accessory brand for dogs and their owners five years ago.

She started by making snuggle sacks and blankets to keep her rescue Greyhound Aston, now 11, warm then created personalised pet products and soft furnishings for friends.

Now Dee, 50, hopes her workshop and boutique will prove popular with the regular dog walkers that visit the park.

She explained: “I can’t wait to welcome dogs and owners so they can see the love, care and attention that goes into every item.
