Is there a dress code?
Yes, guests are asked to wear festive cocktail attire to celebrate the season at Hatfield Park.
What is the maximum guest capacity for private hire?
The venue can accommodate up to 300 guests for a private Christmas hire.
How late are Christmas parties allowed to run?
Private hire events lasting beyond 11:59pm will incur a late-night fee. From Monday to Saturday, celebrations can continue with a pre-approved licence until 2am (1am on Sundays).
Christmas Joiner Parties run from 6:30pm to 11:30pm.
Can we hold a date, and for how long?
Yes – we can hold a provisional date for one week while you finalise your booking.
Can we exclusively hire Hatfield Park?
Absolutely. Weddings include exclusive access to The Old Palace, Knot Garden and Raised Lawn for the duration of your celebration.
Please note that there is public access in front of Palace Green from the visitor car park to the Stable Yard and shops.
Are Hatfield Park’s Christmas party venues accessible?
Accessible parking is provided in the main Visitor Car Park via George’s Gate.
Can guests arrive by coach?
Yes, coach parking is available near The Old Palace and The Stable Yard for group arrivals.
