This will provide you with the opportunity to ask questions on how the Gardens are maintained and developed as well as asking your own gardening questions. It’s also the perfect point for a photo opportunity\, which we can send you as a memento of your day. \nFinally\, after you’ve honed your hive-handling technique\, it’s time to relax with a honey-tasting session\, featuring a pre-prepared selection of local honeys to savour. \nIt’s the perfect experience for anyone that finds bees fascinating or is even thinking of keeping their own bees and would like to know more. All protective equipment needed to work with the bees will be provided for you. \nWHO CAN ATTEND?\nMinimum age 16 – though in that case a parent/guardian may have to sign the waiver. \nWHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS UNSUITABLE?\nIf it is raining\, below 15c\, or very windy we won’t be able to open the bees. This may mean that the course is postponed at short notice. If your course is cancelled by us\, we’ll try our best to find you a suitable alternative date.
