We are pleased to say that the Home Counties National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies will be holding a competition in the Riding School Conference Centre as part of the Hatfield House Rose Weekend & Garden Show.

 

Home Counties Area members have won numerous awards in NAFAS competitions as well as at RHS Shows including Chelsea Flower Show winning various medals including gold. This is the Society's 50th Anniversary.

 

NAFAS (National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies) is the only national organisation dedicated to pursuing the art of flower arranging. It has approaching 80,000 members spread across the UK. The Home Counties Area of NAFAS has 63 clubs in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and parts of Middlesex and Essex.

The 2010 Summer Floral Competition will have classes for everyone from beginner to expert. There will be Open classes for all entrants and classes for Home Counties members only. In the schedule there will be a classes featuring roses, gardens, petite designs etc. The theme is Golden Memories.
